Meet the Founder

Inspired by his Portuguese roots and love of the game, Alek Cordeiro founded Portuguese Futbol Academy in 2015.  Alek holds his United States Soccer Federation D license and will be earning his C license in Winter of 2021. He has played soccer for 18 years, including competitive academy level soccer and won 3 state cups back to back playing for PAC Impact in San Jose, CA. Alek uses his Bachelors of Art in Psychology to combine technical work, fitness,  and cognitive decision making to maximum his players’ growth on and off the field.
